Over 60 years "MARK CLIMATE TECHNOLOGY"

“MARK CLIMATE TECHNOLOGY” was started in 1945 by the brothers van der Mark, the company name was “Ingenieursbureau gebroeders van der Mark NV”. Those brothers were active in developing and producing potato flour and straw paperboard-machines, these activities were sold in 1982. In 1948 started the production of heating-equipment and hydraulic benders. The Heating-equipment consisted of coal-stoked vertical airheaters. In the year 1950 we started producing vertical airheaters with an oilburner. The burner was developed and produced inhouse. Around 1955 MARK started the production of lid- and panelradiators. In 1966 Van der Mark started building gasfired suspended airheating equipment. Soon after that fabrication of airheaters with centrifugal fans and make-up air systems (Calflo) was started. In 1977 production started of the warm water fed airheaters. One year later we started importing gasfired radiant tube heaters from England. In 1984 we started creating the Mark Ecofan. One year later we started producing our own gasfired radiant tube heater. In 1988 Mark BV changed it’s materials for their Rooftop’s and Calflo’s into Seawater resistant aluminium. In 1995 Mark BV introduces the Mark Infra Line, a huge gasfired radiant tube heater with a length up to 50 meters and a large heatingcapacity.

In the past years Mark BV has grown into an international company with 7 establishments in the Netherlands (2x), Belgium, Eire, Germany, Poland and Romania. Production in the Netherlands and Ireland. In the countries we don’t have establishments we have a large distribution network. In total 200 people (over the 7 establishments) work at Mark. Mark BV has a well trained sales organisation that is active over the whole of Europe, they can assist you with your heating challenge. Mark BV also has its own service department. The main business of the service department is supplying maintenance for the heating systems sold by Mark BV.
